Phewa Lake in Pokhara, Western Region, Nepal with 22,943 foot Machapuchare (aka Fish Tail), in the Annapurna Range of the Himalayas, peering out above. The mountain is revered by the local population as particularly sacred to the god Shiva, and hence is off limits to climbing.
